I recently joined a new company and it’s been interesting watching people’s reactions when they learn where I now work.
Previously I’ve served in the Navy, worked for a children’s toy retailer, for an IT outsourcer and for a large company that made cell phones and software among other things. Now I work for Microsoft. (And to be clear this entire blog is my own personal effort and is not endorsed in any way or edited by Microsoft.)
As some of you know, I recently accepted a position with Microsoft as an Account Technology Strategist. I blogged about my interviewing experience and it’s been posted on the Microsoft Careers Jobs Blog. The beginning of the post is below including the jump.
Yea, so it’s here. It’s cool and all, but it doesn’t cure cancer or bring world peace. It won’t solve the problems with the Red Sox blowing leads late in games nor will it help the Cubs win a World Series. Now I’m not an Apple H8T3r, nor am I an Apple fanboy salivating at every utterance and release from Cupertino. That being said, I wouldn’t refuse an iPad if someone chose to give me one.
