The Superbowl is just about the only time of year I get to use my Latin.

Another year, another Superbowl probably with two teams that you don’t normally root for. Do you even remember who played in last year’s game? The commercials and the camaraderie are why most Americans watch the Superbowl and this year was no different.

Perceptions About Where You Work




Work

I recently joined a new company and it’s been interesting watching people’s reactions when they learn where I now work.

Previously I’ve served in the Navy, worked for a children’s toy retailer, for an IT outsourcer and for a large company that made cell phones and software among other things. Now I work for Microsoft. (And to be clear this entire blog is my own personal effort and is not endorsed in any way or edited by Microsoft.)

Update columns are the crutch of columnists, both on and off-line.

Update columns are the crutch of columnists, both on and off-line.

A column of updates is every columnist’s favorite crutch when ideas aren’t flowing and blogging is no different. But of  course, I am doing an update column because I think that some of the previous topics I’ve written about earlier are worth updating, not because I’m suffering from a lack of ideas.
